The COIL collaboration focuses on the Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (Microbiology) programs at San Pedro College in the Philippines, and the Bachelor of Medicine (Family and Community Health) and Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (Preventive Veterinary Medicine) programs at UniFAJ in Brazil. Focused on the theme of Emerging Infectious Diseases (EIDs), the collaboration promotes interdisciplinary learning through a collaborative, One Health approach to analyzing and proposing evidence-based solutions for emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) by developing and presenting a comprehensive interdisciplinary action plan.
